Red Sun Sheen
Alright lads and ladies,
Just a quick blog for you.......
What have I been up to?
Doing a lot of lab work, plus I had my final lecture ever on Friday. How wierd? Thats four years drawing to a close!
Bought a hamster for my lovely girlfrineds birthday present! e's a rocking little hamster with a black mowhawk do! I'm just about five minutes away from getting her a funky top from ebay's DIY section. (4:35 and counting...) I bet some loser swoops in and steals it from me at the last minute!
Red Sun Fun is going well. Went up to She-she's on sunday and wrote an interesting new song, plus had his house mate woody take a few photos (check to myspace site. We shall get aropund to recording more tracks soon.
Check out the new stuff from Mr Haydock! Have only really listened to the first track (as I don't have internet at home) and it is very pleasing! Lovely vocals and pounding rhythm there sir! Good form!
Church rocks at the mo. I'm having a bit of a hardcore week of seminar type things with Leonard Jones and John Mark McMillan from Morning Star Ministries (North Carolina, US) on worship and warfare this week. Plus we are having our annual 'Reach weekend away' somewhere in Wales which is always a good lad every year!
Plus: God works in mysterious ways! I was praying about money to go to Spring Harvest, as I couldn't afford it. Low an behold, my house is robbed and I lose a fair few things. A few weeks later, the insurance company have replaced everything except my old mobile (which I didn't really need replacing anyway). As the old phone was out of date and I have another phone anyway, they have given me a cheque for to value, which is spot on for Spring harvest money! Praise the Lord! Wooooooo!
Anyhoo, back to ebay now and I've won! Back of the net!
See you all soon,
Cx

What a weekend.....Cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrzzzzzz!
Well..... how very strange!
My former housemate and good friend Mr Nick was up for the weekend. It was an intresting chain of events. I will sumerise:
Friday: Pub, Snooker Hall, Pizza Express, Parking Ticket, Whiskey and coke and House of Flying Daggers.
Saturday: Lunch with some people at veggie cafe, argue with waiteresses about their rubbish service (or lack of), go shopping, drink ginger bitter at great brew-pub, visit chinese supermarket, drink large sake, watch 'Way of the Dragon,' go to pub and rock club, near get food poisoning from dodgy kebab.
Sunday: yet more films, more beers in pubs with diffrent people, return home, make dinner + watch tv (during which time, someone sneaks into my house and steals my Xbox, cd player and old mobile phone), stay up till 4 am waiting for the police to come.
So, despite having a fun weekend, I'm now paranoid about security and quite annoyed at having stuff stolen. I'm in uni at the mo, trying to get some work done, but have to go back to my house to let the police in a let them dust for finger prints. Doesn't this stuff only happen in movies?

Thought I'd mess with the blog a bit. What do you think? I can't really find colours I like in the blog builder. Well, not together anyway. Can anyone tell me how to get the line between entries back? Ta.
Phrase of the week:-
There is no theory of evolution, only animals Chuck Norris has allowed to live.
Ayte.
Well, yes. Back again. I've been at it like a real work 'ho this week. I've been in the Lab sooooo much it hurts (well, it kinda does hurt because my chair is uncomforatble!
Have had some second thoughts about the whole phd thing. We shall see.
God has been kicking ass in my churhc this past week. I have to confess that people having physical manifestations freaked my out a little bit, but the more I've examined it and prayed about it, the more I see and understand. Then God started making me shake at the weekend. Now, I'm not one for over hyping things, but it really did happen and it wasn't me doing it. Crazy, but cool! I'm now wondering what God is doing or about to do as he sends His spirit in power before sending people out (Check the new testament from Acts onwards).
Valentines day. Whilst not wiping anyones face in it, I'd just like to tell you I was given a cool t-shirt, box of chocs and the most recent Coheed and Cambria album by my lovely Amanda!
Could be a good weekend. My ex-housemate and friend of several years is heading up to manc, so I imagine there will be much beer action in nice pubs. She-she, if you are around on sat, will probably be spending the day pubbing in town if you, dave and co fancy.
Anyhoo, I've got to go and put some bug on some jelly in a petri dish. No, really, I have....
Slaaaaaaat,
C
